This practice is for returning members who haven't paddled 2+months, those new to paddling, and anyone interested in joining Kilohana.
All new paddlers (new to paddling and new to Kilohana) will need to contact kilohanacoachingstaff@googlegroups.com prior to attending.
Not doing so will not guarantee a seat in a canoe.
Here are a few reminders along with just a few safety guidelines:
1)Arrive early. If you’re on time, you’re late.
2)Masks are not required, but optional.
3)While at the site, if you need to cough/sneeze, cover your mouth with the
crook of your elbow.
4)If you are not feeling well, do not come to practice, STAY HOME.
5)Bring water, preferably in a reusable bottle.
6)Help prep/clean equipment, trolly/carry canoes to the beach area, and help return them back to their resting area. Always take care of our equipment.
7)Keep our area and the surrounding MSI property clean.
*Practices are subject to change due to weather conditions or due to low number of attendees.
